This year's highly sought (and fought) over Scrappers Awards were made by the Chairman of the Awards Committee, Mervyn Rose. This glittering affair was held at the Annual Christmas Dinner at Plummer Manor and was attended by many famous faces in the Sturminster Newton, Rotarian world. The paparazzi, in the form of Mervyn Rose, were as usual in attendance catching pictures of the celebrities as they were presented with their awards which reflected the culmination of a career devoted to scrap collection for charity.
