Changeover night is an annual event in the Rotarian calendar at which the club dines out the retiring president and welcomes into office the president elect for the coming year.
This year our changeover night dinner was held in the Tithe Barn of the Manor House at Hinton St Mary. Our thanks go to Mrs Anthony Pitt-Rivers who kindly allowed us to make full use of this wonderful old building.
A delicious meal was prepared and served to us by the local catering company, Thyme after Time
In a climax to the evening, outgoing president, John Vilton handed over the chain of office to Eric Vining, who, in turn, handed over the office of president elect to Peter Cowley. In his retiring speech John echoed the sentiments of all members when he wished Eric a successful and happy year in office.
